Born and raised in the Bronx, Hanna has always sought adventures that challenged her physically and mentally. She went to Swaziland in southern Africa to work as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in HIV/AIDS impact mitigation, and then joined the NYC Teaching Fellows to teach high school science in the South Bronx.
Hanna got into indoor cycling a few years ago, but had never considered the possibility of becoming an instructor until a Flywheel Chicago instructor, Colleen Cary, thought Hanna had potential! As soon as the idea was in her head, Hanna was dedicated to becoming a fierce instructor. She loves using music to build the ride as a journey to helping all her riders reach their personal goals. She strives to design energetic workouts that push members like a roller coaster using hip hop, rock, pop, reggaeton, and the occasional throwback!
When Hanna is not teaching or taking double cycling classes from other Flywheel instructors, she loves to cook her favorite meal of the day (brunch) or brainstorm the next catchiest name for a food truck.
